The Ryder MethodTM didn't come from a textbook. It came from two decades of building, scaling, and selling real companies — and the frustration of watching that knowledge stay locked away.

2000–2008

Wall Street

Eight years inside investment banks — institutional trading and corporate finance — scaling companies alongside mentors at top institutions, and learning exactly what buyers and capital actually look for.

2008–2020

The founder years — built and sold

Billy left Wall Street to do it himself, building and selling a series of his own companies across multiple industries:

🔸 Espresso Delight — a franchise model, built and sold to private equity in four years

🔸 A New York venture — built and sold back to its investors.

2017–2018

The Ryder Methodology is authored

A deep research dive produced a 460+ page guide to business architecture. Billy distilled it into something a founder could actually run: seven pillars, in sequence — the implementation-focused version of everything that complex playbook contained.

After his exits, Billy kept seeing the same thing: the acquiring firm that pivoted from what was promised, and founder after founder hitting the same external, internal, and philosophical walls — without access to the systems the insiders used. So he began consulting and executive coaching full-time, putting The Ryder Method to work and proving it in the field, company by company.
